Prasanna Gargava is a seasoned business leader with versatile experience for over 32 years in managing and leading diverse business operations across industry sectors to include solar energy; telecom; defense and homeland security; public policy and advocacy; and recently the real estate and amusement parks sectors.

He has led development and set up of an integrated amusement park encompassing Water Park, theme park, family club, retail and hotel with investment exceeding US$ 90Mn and successfully launched commercial operations of Water Park and entertainment club as CEO of Amaazia. He spearheaded establishment of Homeland Security and Defense business division as part of diversifications strategy of Jubilant Group and led formation of JV for UAV manufacturing with an Israel firm and surveillance systems with a North American company. He developed market entry strategy and successfully launched Talesun Solar, a leading Chinese company in India market, and also led business development for solar modules and EPC in India and Asia-pacific region. He delivered US$ 50Mn revenue through sale of over 2Mn Kyocera mobile phones and solar panels to public and private telecom operators. His recent significant achievements include loan settlement with banks and revival of an NPA asset worth US$ 100Mn by raising US$ 20Mn strategic investment in the venture.

In his over 3 decades of career, he was involved in business strategy, planning and operations, marketing and sales planning, techno-commercial negotiations, contracts management, policy advocacy, international trade, joint venture and partnerships with foreign companies, brand licensing; financial model and deal structure; government business and tendering etc. Also, he actively worked with the government in energy sector reforms, administrative reforms, PPP projects, industrial policy formulation and investment promotions nearly for a decade as part of Confederation of Industry.

His diverse and progressive experience has been at the core to constantly learn and innovate in driving growth and delivering business excellence and transformation. He is valued for turnaround management, new businesses and strategies. He has been part of various high-powered business delegations and travelled to several countries - USA, UK, Canada, Italy; Denmark; Australia; New Zealand; Israel; Singapore; Germany; France; China; Switzerland, Hong Kong, UAE, Malaysia, Nepal including WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM in DAVOS. He authored reports on Madhya Pradesh Economy in Retrospect; Indian Power Sector; Tourism Sector; Solar Energy. He represented as council member in TEMA, CRISP, ILFI and IMC Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

He is an alumnus of IIFT, Delhi and SGSIT Indore (Industrial and Production Engineering) and specializes in international business and corporate finance.
